The owners of Villa Rosada, Jocko and Shelley Godin, welcome you to share in the joy and relaxation of their Caribbean home.

Born and raised in New Brunswick, Canada, Mr. & Mrs. Godin have been married for over 21 years and have no children. Both share in the businesses they created, which includes, a mechanical engineering supply and contracting company, a natural gas supply and contracting company, a plumbing and heating company, an ATV-UTV accessories company, and two holding companies, one in Canada the other in the Dominican Republic.

The dream of owning their own Caribbean Villa came true in May of 2005, when after 18 years of searching for just the right home and location, they found and purchased Vila Rosada, Cabarete, Dominican Republic. Villa Rosada is a very unique property, sharing European architecture with Asian and Moroccan interior influences wrapped together directly on a magnificent beach.

Unfortunately for the Godin’s, their business obligations within Canada do not allow them to fully enjoy their Caribbean Haven as they would want. Thankfully, they have made the decision to share their paradise with a select few guests.

Other properties of such luxury and beach front location are significantly more expensive, as they are operated more as a business. Jocko and Shelley are less worried about the business side of Villa Rosada, and more concerned over the personal satisfaction they receive from sharing their home with special guests they call friends.

About the Area and Activities

Located in the Cabarete Region of Dominican Rebublic, Villa Rosada is a beach front property that has lots to offer. Everything from Kite Boarding and windsurfing to excellent wheather and a storied history.

The white sand beaches, impressive mountain ranges veined with spectacular rivers and waterfalls, and saltwater lakes teeming with exotic wildlife are just part of the Dominican Republic's appeal. Steer a small boat through endless mangrove forests in search of gentle manatees. Spy on lovesick humpback whales in the Bahia de Samana. And once you've had your fill of this exquisite island's natural wonders, head back to civilisation and prepare to party.
